It feels a little bizarre to celebrate Black Friday in Portland, a city that generally lifts a nose at the premise of a frenzied, capitalist bacchanal. That being said, we’re a thrifty bunch, and it’s not exactly out of bounds to want to follow up a big family meal with a few bottles of cheap beer. A handful of Portland-based brands, wine shops, and breweries are offering discounts, sales, and one-offs, so those in need of a post-Thanksgiving shopping spree can scroll down for all the Portland food-and-drink-themed deals. Those looking for Thanksgiving-themed events should check out the Thanksgiving dinner guide, while those looking for more general food events can check this week’s EventWire.
